Pressur es una Impresora uruguaya, establecida en un parque industrial ubicado en la Zona Franca del Departamento de Colonia. Dedica su producción a la Industria gráfica editorial, produciendo libros y revistas para editoriales de todas partes del mundo.

Pensada y construida para ser una imprenta de vanguardia en lo tecnológico, hace 8 años que funciona, según contara su Gerente Comercial.

Tuve la oportunidad de recorrer el área de Preimpresión, y la planta de Impresión y Postimpresión, con más de 1100 m2, viendo el proceso desde el archivo, pasando por la impresión que se hace para verificar el color, la impresión de todas las páginas (tienen una máquina de 8 tintas!), el armado de los pliegos, y los distintos sistemas de encuadernación.

Sin dudas, una experiencia súper enriquecedora, en donde no sólo me sorprendió el aspecto tecnológico, en donde pude aprender mucho de lo que hay detrás del telón de mi trabajo, sino la limpieza con la que trabajan. Gracias a la gente de Pressur por el tour!

Pressur is a Uruguayan Printer, established in an industrial park located on the outskirts of the capital. It dedicate its production to the publisher industry, producing books and magazines for publisher houses from all around the world. Designed and built to be technologically advanced has 8 years old at the business.

I had the opportunity to have a tour at the Prepress, Printing and Postpress plant, with more than 1100 m2, watching the process from the file, through the printing (they have an 8-ink machine!), the assembly of the sheets, and various binding systems.

Without doubt, a super enriching experience, where I was surprised not only about the technological aspect, where I learned a lot of what is behind the scenes of my work, but also the cleanliness with which they work. Thanks to the people of Pressur for the tour!
