Participation in Troca-Art 14´

TROCA es una muestra y subasta de arte donde el público puede ofertar por las obras cualquier cosa, excepto dinero. En ese contexto fueron seleccionadas 3 ilustraciones que presenté para subastar. A continuación dejo el texto y las características de la obra.

Leí por ahí que cuando somos niños ilustramos para comprender el mundo que nos rodea, para expresarnos y para jugar; y que cuando crecemos renunciamos a esa capacidad, suplantándola por otras herramientas. En ese sentido, nunca dejé de ser niña, me resisto a la idea de un mundo sin elefantes en papel!

Dimensiones de la obra: 21 x 29 cm (A4) / Papel: 260 g / Técnica: Dibujo a lápiz terminado con fibra negra, difuminador y colores.

TROCA is an exhibition and art auction where people can put in a tender anything in exchange for the works, except money. In that context there were selected 3 illustrations that I submitted to auction. I leave the text and the characteristics of the work below.

I have readed somewhere that when we are children we illustrate for understanding the world around us, to express ourselves and to play; and when we grow we are use to giving up that capability, supplanting for other tools. In that sense, I never stopped being a child, I resist the idea of a world without elephants on paper!
